THE CONSULTATION

I shoot with the intention of decorating your home with the images we get from your session. From who's included in the shoot, what to wear, how images will be displayed, color, design, to location planning and look and feel of the session, the pre-consultation answers ALL your questions and helps us get to know each other! We will coordinate how we shoot the session with what the final outcome will be. Consults can take place in-person or on the phone.

THE SHOOT!

I only book one newborn a day so there will be no rushing through the session. Every baby is different, some sleep through the whole session and some need a little more snuggling and snacks. Because I only book 1 newborn session a day, that allows me to make sure that you and your baby are as comfortable as possible through the whole process.

I encourage my clients to include their families in the shoos as well. Got a high energy 2 year old sibling you want to included in the shoot? Great! We will get those out of the way first so they can spend the rest of the time playing, watching and "helping out" if they want to. I know you've just had a baby and may not feel at your best but I can't stress enough the importance of the the parents being included in the shoot. When you see those precious photographs of you with your newborn baby you will be so glad you did it. I also encourage my clients to bring grandparents in for the end of the session, generation shoots are so amazing and will be something that will be cherished by the whole family forever. 

Shoots take place in my little Brighton, MI studio or I can bring the shoot to you! Whatever you prefer. I will bring a small amount of props/wraps/equipment with me and use your house as the studio. If I am bringing the party to you, we will spend the first few minutes of the session finding the perfect spot to set up! If it's nice outside we can even go out to your favorite place for the shoot. We can decide all of this at your consultation.

THE ORDERING APPOINTMENT


A few weeks after your session, you’ll come to the studio to view your images, order your products, pick artwork for your home and decide on your album or folio box. Bring anyone you want to your session (especially if they'll want photos!) because we'll be placing your order at that time. I'll be there to guide you and provide suggestions if needed :)

Photographs should be displayed not just hidden in the drawer on a USB drive. So every packages includes prints, canvases, portfolio boxes and albums! If you give me a photo of the room you want to decorate with your images I will mock up an example using your images of your home so you can see what it would look like even before purchasing! (I can give you directions on how to do that when we talk.)

LONG TERM PLANS

Your family is just getting started and will change every year! It may grow and your kids will definitely grow way too fast! We can talk about our Baby Grow Up plan as well as future family photos to keep your artwork up to date!

PRICE LIST

The session fee is $150 and that secures your date and covers your shoot! You can choose a package or anything from the a la carte menu so you get exactly what you want!
